Duke Marketing started off their eastern adventure heading to Michigan for the statewide kick-off of "Pie for the Cure" for client Grand Traverse Pie Company where 50 cents of every pie is donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation from March 20th to May 10th. The Duke Marketing team visited: Flint, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Troy and several other cities within the state. (And that was just the start of the journey...)
Next, the Duke Marketing team was off to Rhode Island & Cape Code. They visited iconic East Coast landmarks like Plymouth Rock, lighthouses and Johnson and Wales University. While in Rhode Island, Linda spoke at a Food Show for Cara Dona Provision Company, a food distributor. This year's theme was Bailout Party.
The Duke Team then made their way to Boston to visit Harvard University and the Boston Harbor. They got a little lost, but saw some beautiful and quintessential New England style homes on the way.
After tasting lobster and seeing the East Coast sites, the Duke Marketing made their way west again for the UCLA Restaurant Leadership Conference.
