Recipes for Restaurateurs®, written by Linda Duke, debuted August 2008. Since then, the author has been crisscrossing the continent on her book tour which just came to a close with her San Diego appearance at the IFEC Annual Conference (International Foodservice Editorial Council) . Duke has spoken at numerous restaurant industry engagements including Boston’s Pizza International in Toronto last December, and kicked off 2009 US Foodservice convention with over 300 sales people in Denver. Then on to New York for the International Restaurant Show in March, the National Restaurant show in Chicago this past May, and sixty eight airplane rides later. “This year has just flown by,” says Duke.

Duke’s book was nominated by the International Association of Culinary Professionals as a top resource in 2008. Numerous restaurant operators have already used its recipes and have achieved sales increases. “I didn’t know when I published the book in August the economy was going to tank,” says Duke. “I am so blessed that I wrote a book in time to help the restaurant industry during the current economic challenges. It was my goal to provide an easy to use resource to increase awareness and drive sales, and the recipes are perfect for executing now.”
