Food Services of America
Food Services of America, the nation’s fifth largest foodservice industry distributor, held its annual Food Expo at Metra Center in Billings Montana, May 12th. Linda Duke was the keynote and kick-off for the 2010 event and spoke to the crowd of more than 325 people.
Duke shared her tips and solutions for restaurant operators to create awareness and drive sales in today's tough economy. "We're not selling lingerie here people!," Duke said to the crowd of over 200 operators from Montana and Wyoming attending the kick-off session. "We are selling food and people still have to eat!" she proclaimed.
"It was our pleasure to have you be a part of our team," says John Brennan, Director of Marketing & Training, Food Services of America. "The customer response has been extremely positive. We will also be submitting more book orders within the next couple of days," he continued.
Duke's book, Recipes for Restaurateurs was raffled off to a lucky winner and several operators purchased the book and had Duke sign their copy. "It makes me feel so terrific to know that my book is educating operators and helping them increase their sales," said Duke.
Rachel Sly, coordinator of the Food Expo said, "Thank You Linda! Your seminar received a wonderful response. Customers left with not only an overall appreciation for the importance of Marketing but with ideas to implement into their own establishments. Thanks again for all your hard work and enthusiasm!"
