RESTAURANT ADVERTISING BREAKTHROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P A I N T!
San Rafael, California (Duke Marketing's homebase), can now boast the newest restaurant advertising breakthrough! Paint! In today's Marin Independent Journal, our food editor and collegue, Jessica Bernstein-Wax, discovered a new advertising and public relations strategy from a soon to be opened Pizza Orgasmica and their outdoor paint color. "This is a breakthrough for the restaurant industry," said Linda Duke, restaurant marketing expert. "This new advertising and public relations strategy is great, they haven't even opened yet and are on the front page of the newspaper--thanks to their paint job!"
An excerpt from the article...
Some San Rafael residents claim a new pizza parlor's yellow paint job is bright enough to singe the eyes of onlookers, while others say it adds vibrancy to Fourth Street.

And the debate over Pizza Orgasmica & Brewing Co.'s color scheme could reach a climax Wednesday when the San Rafael Design Review Board considers whether to OK the vibrant tones or send owners Gina Gochez and Taylor Maia back to the paint shop.

Pizza Orgasmica is scheduled to open next week in the historic building at 812 Fourth St. previously occupied by Rafters Grille and Brewery. The approximately 8,000-square-foot restaurant features a sports bar, main dining room and family eating area.

It will serve the same saucily named pizzas as its three San Francisco locations — as well as traditional Brazilian food — and brew beer in-house for all four Pizza Orgasmica restaurants, said Gochez and Maia, who are married and live in Marin.
