NATIONAL RESTAURANT SHOW BLOWS INTO CHICAGO
Duke's Marketing Panel Standing Room Only!
The National Restaurant show held in Chicago every year kicked off this weekend with Linda Duke of Duke Marketing leading a marketing executives panel on Saturday. The education session was standing room only with executives from Chevys Fresh Mex, Straw Hat Pizza and FREEBIRDS World Burrito sharing their marketing strategies. Several restaurant industry editors and reporters from Franchise Times, Nation's Restaurant News and Burger Business were in attendance to cover the session.
Duke, who is also a member of the Fast Casual Industry Council of the National Restaurant Association, participated in the Fast Casual panel today at the NRA show. George Green, Wally Doolin, Jim Vintz, Husein Kittabwalla, Geoff Hill and Paul Barron each shared different aspects of the fast casual industry and gave the standing room only crowd a fantastic session.
The Chairman's Ball celebrating Sally Smith, chairwoman of the NRA, was held at the Fairmont Hotel by Ecolab and was a wonderful event with silent auction items including Recipes for Restaurateurs, Duke's book which was also on sale at the NRA Book Store.
