Boudin Bakery, the 160 plus year old San Francisco sourdough brand recently opened their newest concept, BoudinSF in Sunnyvale, CA.  The first guests in line drove over 100 miles to be the winners of 365 loaves of bread, "Daily Bread" when the doors opened.  Master Baker Fernando poses with #2 in line here the day of the Grand Opening.
The Duke Marketing team managed the Grand Opening festivities including the 365 loaves of bread on display to show the First 100 Guests in line what they win!
Each of the first 100 guests received a Red Tin with 365 bread cards inside to be used for Boudin Sourdough One pound loaf.
The First Spot in line was reserved for the Second Harvest Food Bank and guests donated over 300 pounds of non perishable food items besides their executive doanting the 365 loaves of bread to those hungry families in Santa Clara County.

The first guests in line spent the night in spite of the rain and cold conditions. They were treated to numerous treats like sandwiches, pastries and coffee in the morning.

By 5 a.m. over 100 guests were lined up to be the BIG WINNERS!  TV news crews came to cover the story and the local high school pep band played holiday tunes along with a fun bread toss to keep the crowd entertained!
