Can we save California's Central Valley from the Water Crisis?

These photos are no joke.  After driving from the San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles via Highway 5, the signs of California's water crisis begin to the real story.  The central valley's growers, where 99% of the worlds grapes, walnuts, almonds, peaches, pistachios and more are grown, are being told how much and when they can use water.  The wasteland of where crops used to grow are now only visited by the hot wind created dust devils that make visibility hard and tumble weed collect along the freeway.  What will the affects be?  Think about it every time you eat raisins, drink wine and have juicy tomatoes on your salad.  The prices will rise and more and more jobs are being lost.  Any ideas of how we can help?
